The Bernhardt Group Hires Tamzin Astani as Policy Analyst

February 12, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Bernhardt Group is proud to announce Tamzin Astani has joined the team as a Policy Analyst.

Tamzin most recently served as a Professional Staff Member and Deputy Coalitions Director for House Budget Committee Chair Jodey Arrington. In this role, she served as the point of contact for the Office of Management and Budget and federal agencies.

“Tamzin’s hiring marks an exciting period of expansion for the firm as we continue to expand our team,” Cole Rojewski and Jon Hrobsky, Managing Partners, said. “We’re poised to help our clients bring about dynamic change in Washington heading into the 2026 midterms. We’ve always said we know how this administration moves– because we helped move it before. Similarly, we are building out our Congressional bench to best advise and move policymakers. Tamzin brings the experience in appropriations, rules, defense, technology, and energy that our clients are eager to navigate.”

“Secretary Bernhardt has brought together trusted advisors with a proven track record of shaping consequential policy decisions at the highest levels across government,” said Astani. “After delivering for the American people in Congress, I am honored to join The Bernhardt Group and work alongside some of the sharpest minds in Washington as we help clients navigate a dynamic landscape poised for opportunity.”

Overseeing the energy, national security, and technology portfolios, Tamzin played a critical role in shaping key provisions within the One Big Beautiful Bill to enhance and expand energy resources and increase defense investments.

Before her time on Capitol Hill, she worked as a public relations associate for a major European fashion house, managing communications and developing strategic initiatives to drive engagement at globally recognized events.

Tamzin graduated from The American University of Paris with a bachelor’s degree in International Finance.
