Over the past 16 years, Chris served as the Interior Department’s Legislative Counsel, working across presidential administrations on high-profile legislative and oversight matters. In this role, he was the senior executive in the Office of the Secretary responsible for preparing nominees for the confirmation process, briefing senior officials ahead of congressional hearings, developing legislative proposals and serving as a liaison with the White House, Congress and other federal agencies on Interior’s legislative agenda.
