Cole previously served as Director of Congressional and Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he managed relationships with House and Senate leadership and led the confirmation efforts for senior administration officials. He played a key role in building bipartisan coalitions to pass major policy initiatives, including the Great American Outdoors Act. On Capitol Hill, Cole served as Chief of Staff to multiple senior Members of Congress, including the Chair of the House Appropriations Committee. In these roles, he helped shape some of the most consequential appropriations legislation of the last decade.
